This graphical representation shows the full service on the West Clare line as appearing in the CIÉ Working Timetable from 14 September 1952. Crossing stations are indicated by solid horizontal lines, minor stations having a passenger platform but no crossing loop are identified by chain-dashed lines, and unstaffed halts are designated by simple dashed lines.
Passenger Trains
The regular passenger service consists of Trains Nos 1 and 3 Down and 2 and 4 Up, daily except Sunday, blue lines. Train No 4 has a later departure from Kilkee on Wednesday and Saturday. All Ennis-Kilkee services have connections at Moyasta from and to Kilrush. The early afternoon branch service from Kilrush, No 26, and its return, No 25, are MTThF only. The later afternoon service, No 28, runs daily from Kilrush through to Kilkee, but only connects for Ennis on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Its return working, No 27, starts from Kilkee and connects with the down afternoon service from Ennis at Moyasta.
Goods Trains
Trains Nos 11 and 12 are the Goods Services. No. 11 down runs to Kilrush via Kilkee, but No 12 Up runs directly from Kilrush towards Ennis.
Moyasta Junction Triangle
Movements at Moyasta to and from the Kilrush branch are explained below the graph. It can be seen that the triangle at Moyasta was in active daily use for almost every Kilrush service in the railcar era.
